Bulldogs News · CONGRATULATIONS TO BETHLEHEM CENTER’S PJAS PARTICIPANTS!


On February 9, 2019 seventeen students from Bethlehem Center competed in the Region 8 Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Regional Competition (PJAS). This is a science competition open to students in grades 7-12 where they conduct scientific research/experiments then present their research and conclusions to a panel of judges. This year the students did very well earning 12 first awards and 5 second awards. In addition, 2 students received the James W. Maloy Awards for highest scoring physics student from Bethlehem Center and 1 student earned a 3 year perseverance award for attending the regional competition 3 years or more. These students are now eligible for the State Competition in May at Penn State
