On 25 January 2018, a team of 5 students competed at Trinity High School’s first STEAM Competition. The team consisted of Christian Holmes, Alexis McCollum, Jordan Miller, Ian Nelson, and Travis Pettit. They competed in 5 areas: T-shirt cannon, Mathematics, Chemistry, Team Building, Construction (Bridge Building and Pipeline Building). In addition, they toured Trinity’s new Freight Farm. The team did well at the competition and look forward to returning next year. The event was sponsored by Range Resources and BeeGraphix.
